Some article marketing strategies may seem more important than others, but overall they are all equally as important. Without the right combination of strategies and techniques, your article marketing efforts may fail. You need to master each level of article marketing if you hope to have long-term success. There is so much more to this game besides simply writing articles and then throwing them at article directories.
Let's cover a basic article marketing strategy you should be using, which can dramatically increase traffic to your website. If you master this strategy you should see more traffic for your efforts then you're currently seeing right now.
How to master creating a powerful and effective author bio or resource box.
A lot of article markers get this one step wrong, even though it's very simple to remember and can have a serious effect on the traffic received to your website. The resource box is a key part of your article. Without a powerful converting one, you are losing your traffic right there. You need to get them to click onto your site. Forget the word bio box, this is misleading and what causes so many beginners to use it as just that. Instead fill in your bio on the article directory, and use the bio box as a resource box, the way to get them to your site.
Too many marketers use the resource box to basically brag about themselves and the reader doesn't want to see this. The purpose of your resource box is for the reader to click over to find more information based on the content you just provided them. If you use it to simply brag about yourself and how great you think you are, then you just lost the traffic.
Your resource box should be aimed only at getting people to click over to find out more based on information you just provided them in your article. The purpose should not be to sell someone anything. People are not in a buying mood when they are reading an article; they are in the investigative mood. You need to get them to your site, to do the selling side of it. (Not too mention, most article directories won't approve your article if they view it as a sales directed article.)
One of the best ways to do it is a short simple sentance like this:
Are you ready to drive massive traffic to your site today? Click here to learn how! And then you put in your hyperlinks and are good to go.
Or another option is to blend it with your article, so you would take the very last paragraph of your article and add in a sentence like the one I just showed you, and put that into the resource box.
